Kaiterra Sales Terms and Conditions*

*In the event of discrepancies between the English and Chinese versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

The following terms and conditions are governed by and in accordance to the laws of the People’s Republic of China, upheld by the Consumer Protection Law (“中华人民共和国消费者权益保护法”) and the Product Quality Law (“中华人民共和国产品质量法”). Terms and conditions of sale and service apply to all Laser Egg products (“Product”), including the Laser Egg (1st Gen). Laser Egg 2, and Laser Egg 2+ , and are as follows:

Compatibility

You acknowledge that you have verified the compatibility of the Products you are purchasing with other equipment in your home and mobile device (e.g., ensuring that your WiFi connection is compatible with the Laser Egg). You are solely responsible for determining the compatibility of the Products with other equipment in your home, and you accept that lack of compatibility is not a valid claim under the warranty provided with your Products and does not otherwise constitute a basis for receiving a refund after the 7-day refund policy described below.

Returns and Exchanges

  1. Returns – If, for any reason, you wish to return the Product purchased from the Kaiterra website (www.kaiterra.com) or the official Kaiterra WeChat store (collectively, the “Store”), you can notify us within 7 (seven) days of your purchase for a full Product refund. To initiate a return, you must let us know your decision by contacting us at support@kaiterra.com. If you purchased the Product from somewhere other than the Store, please contact that reseller for more information about returns and exchanges.

To receive a refund, you must present a valid proof of purchase and invoice (if obtained at time of purchase). The Product (and any promotional merchandise supplied with the Product) should be returned in its original packaging, including accessories and other items included with your purchase. At our sole discretion, products that appear worn or damaged, or have missing parts will not be approved for return. You will be responsible for all costs (including shipping) associated with returning it to us.

Once approved, we will immediately issue your refund to your original payment method. Timing of when the refund is received varies by bank or payment issuer.  

  1. Refunds – To the extent permissible by law, Kaiterra accepts no responsibility or liability for any damage or loss caused by your access or use of the Product. However, if you notice the Product is faulty or not as described, you may return the Product by contacting us at support@kaiterra.com with your decision, within 7 (seven) days of your purchase delivery. Once authorized, you must present a valid proof of purchase and return the invoice (if obtained at time of purchase). To receive a refund, you must return the Product (and any promotional merchandise supplied with the Product) in its original packaging, including accessories and and other items provided with your purchase.  If you purchased the Product from somewhere other than the Store, please contact that reseller for more information about returns and exchanges.
  2.  Exchanges – To the extent permissible by law, Kaiterra accepts no responsibility or liability for any damage or loss caused by your access or use of the Product. You can notify us at support@kaiterra.com about an exchange if you notice the Product is faulty or not as described, within 15 (fifteen) days of purchase. Once the team authorizes the exchange, you must return the Product (and any promotional merchandise supplied with the Product) in its original packaging, including accessories and other items provided with your purchase. The Limited Warranty will restart upon the exchange of the new Product. The 7-day refund does not apply after the exchange.

Limited Warranty

All Product purchases made from the Store, unless otherwise noted, are eligible for the Limited Warranty within 1 (one) year from the Product’s delivery date. To initiate a return or repair service under the Limited Warranty, please contact us at support@kaiterra.com.

Kaiterra warrants to the owner of the Product contained in the box is free of defects from workmanship and materials for a period of 1 (one) year from the delivery date. The Limited Warranty does not extend to the following conditions:

  • Product information does not match those listed on the invoice or proof of purchase.
  • Altered, removed, or worn model or serial number.
  • Unofficial or altered invoice or proof of purchase.
  • Product has been repaired, taken apart or altered by an unauthorized entity.
  • Product is unable to function properly due to mishandling.

If the Product needs parts repaired or replaced after the 1-year Warranty Period, please contact us at support@kaiterra.com.
